White Flight Freestyle's CAT camps (meow!) are fun-packed full day camps for Junior's (pre-teen) with on and off snow training in preparation for regional and national freestyle competitions. WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT CAT CAMPS? If you have ever wanted to know what it takes to become a professional freestyle snowboard/ski athlete then CAT camps could be just what you're looking for. Jump, spin, grab, tweak... get your freestyle fix right here! White Flight Freestyle's CAT camps are designed to help budding shredders understand and experience what it takes to become a professional freestyle snowboarding/skiing athlete and guide you every step of the way. WILL IT TIRE MY CHILD OUT? Absolutely! With morning fitness involving running, stretches, circuits and balance board sessions followed by afternoons in the park at Chill Factores' 180m slope full of features* it's a killer combination to set up a well deserved good nights sleep. DO WE GO TO GRAYSTONES? Yes! Friday morning camps will be held at the indoor action sports centre Graystone's in Salford from 10-12pm (10-4pm day) and 11-1pm (11-5pm day) which is just 15 mins away from Chill Factore by car. Here we do trampoline aerial training, adapted snowboard and ski kicker training along with free time to explore this adrenaline pumping complex. WHAT LEVEL DOES MY JUNIOR NEED TO BE? We welcome juniors of all abilities to be part of CAT camps as long as the minimum main slope requirements at Chill Factore are met - linking turns confidently from the top of the main slope and use a drag lift unassisted. If you're not quite there please get in touch before making any bookings. CAN I DROP THE KID(S) OFF FOR THE DAY? All children will be supervised throughout the day inc. lunch break if parents/guardian/carers are not present. Please bring pack lunch/drinks/money for refreshments throughout the camps. DOES THE CAMP INCLUDE A LIFT PASS? The cost of this camp does not cover the cost of your lift pass at Chill Factore or entrance to Graystones which can be paid on entry however pre booking is heavily advised to avoid disappointment. CAT camps will need lift passes to cover from 11-4pm on Thursdays and 1-4pm on Fridays. If it's your first time at Graystones you will need to sign a waiver before you enter the facility so please head over to the Graystones website (link at the top of this page) and you should find an online form you can fill in.
